PROCESS CONTROL OR PRODUCTION MONITORING?
Based on customer requirements, possibly existing FMEAs and own findings, the specifications (scope, due date, etc.) were defined in the inspection plan. The type of production (make-to-order or large-scale production) determines the evaluation method.
An inspection order is created in the same way as a production order. The necessary data can also come from the ERP system and generate the inspection order automatically.
The inspector is guided by the specifications in the inspection plan during data acquisition and is specifically supported by graphical inspection notes (images, drawings, videos, PDF documents, etc.).
Depending on the responsibility, an inspector can intervene independently in case of deviations. In the deviation analysis, the inspector selects the fault and cause links from the FMEA and receives predefined reaction plan measures.
Numerous analysis tools are available for proving process capability.
The results are processed in the familiar evaluations such as control charts, histograms, probability networks or defect distributions.
